Meet Ashley “Hoodie” Hood…our May Breakout Athlete of the Month!
Hoodie is one of our “locals”; she grew up in Prospect Heights, IL, and now lives in Mount Prospect. She is one of four children and is a high school nurse. She recently became an Auntie to an adorable baby girl and when she’s not visiting and playing with that bundle of joy, she’s spending time with her other 2 fur-babies: her cat and dog.
Hoodie began CrossFitting in July of 2015 and has already got one competition under her belt. She recently competed in the Athena Classic 2016, where she finished 13th out of 48 fierce competitors! One of her other BIGGEST accomplishments came just days ago, when she successfully completed her first rope climb!!! Talk about dedication and hard work!
Ashley is always eager and willing to try new things, even if they scare her. Needless to say, she faces her fears head on and brings a level of focus and determination that inspires so many people. Hoodie, we are so grateful that you’re part of the CFB family and we couldn’t be more proud to call you our Breakout Athlete of the Month for May.
We are so excited to celebrate you this month! Thank you for what you bring to the CFB community, and welcome to the BAM family!
